Made this for my niece. She wants to bergaya but all of the tudung out there are designed for adults. So I made this design with butterflies. Very cute!

B&W Vines

This one was a pleasure to make. The tiny flowers add charms to this design that fills almost the whole upper part of the baju. So far this is the biggest design on the neck that I have done. I am very satisfied with this one :) The end result is very grand and sweet at the same time.

Golden Blue

This is a simple crumble design along the neck. I embellished this design with bits of freshwater pearls in Gold & Bronze. I added a 'pendant' like design on the end of the neckline. So this design kinda look like a beautiful necklace.

Midnight Blue

The rich blue colour of this kebaya screams 'Royalty' to me ;). I added highlights to the kerawang of the kebaya in the colour of rich, white gold. I also embellished this kebaya with bits of aquamarine. These colours were inspired by a beautiful ring (photo below).

The Look #4: A Lil' Bit of Sunshine

Yes, it's always sunny in Malaysia.... but not lately, it has been raining a lot more than usual. Typically our rainy season ends in Feb/Mar. However, I still find myself sitting at home waiting for the rain to subside so I can put on my running shoes and sweat some calories off ;)

I hope this look will bring brightness into your life.

The baju kurung is blue in colour and to bring out its beauty, we highlighted it with some sparklies in yellow, orange and a bit of pink.

The soft Pink and Brown colours are very romantic. That is why I added the pearls into the design (Sweet Baby Crumble). For me, pearls somehow bring in mind the soft, demur, romantic girl.

I am loving the pink leather high heeled platforms by L.A.M.B. It is very sexy and sweet at the same time.

Green Bubbles

I love this colour scheme. Pink and green is very refreshing combo I think. On the neck, I embroidered 3 circles with different designs.

On the each of the hands of the baju kurung, I embroidered 3 circles also.

Plus, on the edge on the neckline & hands, I embroidered the manik beriring.

The Looks #1: Silver Star

Baju Kurung is an elegant and sweet dress worn by Malaysian women not only when attending formal and ceremonial occasions, but also for the office and everyday wear.

Besides the Baju Kurung's elegance and simple beauty, it's loose fitting design makes it very comfortable to wear in the hot humid weather in Malaysia.

I am planning to start putting together looks for the garments that I hand embroidered with beads. I am starting the first one with this Silver Star Look. I absolutely love silver accessories because I think it glams up any attire.
